We develop the optimal cache placement scheme through formulating a cache placement optimization problem, aiming to minimize the average load during the delivery phase under arbitrary cache size and user requests. Through reformulation, we show that the problem is a linear programming problem. However, as MEC server is located at network edge, its computation capacity should be finite, especially in the networks with intensive workloads. In this talk, we will consider two types of computation capacity constraints. The first is that the computable data at the MEC server is finite, and the other is virtual machine scheduling for multi-task parallel computation.
